Licence terms and conditions of sale
Last updated: 18 September 2026 · GhostEye 1.0.0
These terms govern the sale and use of GhostEye ("the software"), sold through ghosteye.store by the developer known as @SoloShown ("we", "us"). Placing an order means accepting them.
1. What you are buying
You buy a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use GhostEye on the number of computers stated in your order. You do not buy the software itself and no ownership passes to you.
- A licence is delivered as a code in the form GHST-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX.
- Activation binds the licence to a computer through an anonymous hardware hash. You may move it to another computer by deactivating it first, from Settings.
- Time-limited plans (1, 3, 6 or 12 months) stop unlocking Pro features when they expire. The Lifetime plan does not expire and covers the 1.x line of releases.
2. What you may not do
- Share, resell, sublicense, rent or publish your licence code.
- Reverse engineer, decompile or modify the software, except where the law says you may.
- Circumvent the licensing mechanism or use a code obtained other than from us.
A code found to be shared publicly or used beyond its activation limit may be revoked without refund.
3. Ordering, payment and delivery
The site takes no payment. You send an order through the form, we reply with the payment details and your order reference, and once payment is received the licence code and download links are sent to the email address you gave, normally within 24 hours.
Prices are shown in euro and are the full amount due; any tax that applies is already included. If you need a receipt or an invoice, ask before paying and we will tell you what we can issue.
4. Right of withdrawal
Digital content delivered immediately is exempt from the 14-day right of withdrawal once delivery has started with the buyer's express consent (Italian Consumer Code, art. 59, implementing Directive 2011/83/EU). By ticking the box on the order form you ask for immediate delivery and acknowledge that you lose that right once the licence code is sent to you.
Before that point you may cancel the order at no cost simply by replying to the confirmation email.
5. Refunds
If the software does not run on your computer and we cannot resolve it with you, we refund the purchase in full within 14 days of the licence being issued. Write to [email protected] describing the problem.
6. What the software does to your computer
GhostEye changes Windows settings, including the registry, services, scheduled tasks, startup entries and installed applications, and it deletes temporary files. These are changes you are authorising. Before each batch of changes it creates a System Restore point and exports the registry keys it is about to modify, and the Change History can undo any applied tweak.
Deleting files through Cleanup, the Recycle Bin or duplicate removal cannot be undone. The application warns you before doing so. Review what is selected.
7. No warranty beyond the law
The software is provided as is. We give no guarantee of any particular performance gain: results depend entirely on your hardware, your Windows installation and what was configured before. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost data, lost profits or downtime. Nothing here limits liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, or any statutory right you have as a consumer.
Keep your own backups. This is good advice with any software that touches system settings, including ours.
8. Requirements
Windows 10 or Windows 11, 64-bit. The "light" build additionally requires the .NET 8 Desktop Runtime from Microsoft. An internet connection is needed to activate the licence and, afterwards, to confirm it periodically; the software keeps working offline for 7 days before Pro features pause.
9. Support
Support is by email at [email protected], in English or Italian, for the duration of your licence. Lost codes, licence resets after a hardware failure and activation problems are all handled there.
10. Changes and applicable law
These terms may change for future orders; the version in force is the one published when you order. Italian law applies. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live, and you may bring a dispute before the courts of your own place of residence.
11. Who you are buying from
GhostEye is written and sold by an independent developer working under the name @SoloShown. The contact point for anything at all — orders, support, complaints, refunds — is [email protected], and we answer in English or Italian.
