The difference
No placebo tweaks, no invented numbers
Most "optimizers" show you a number going up and never tell you what they changed. GhostEye does the opposite: open any tweak and it names the exact key it writes, what Windows does with it, and what you give up.
- No FPS counter Because a program cannot see the frame rate of a game it is not part of. Anyone showing you one made it up.
- Empty beats invented If your motherboard does not report the CPU temperature, the field stays blank. It is never filled with a plausible-looking number.
- Risk in the open Every tweak carries a LOW, MED or HIGH label and explains the trade-off, instead of hiding inside a preset you cannot inspect.
- One-way doors are announced Deleting files is the only thing that cannot be undone, and the app warns you before it does it.

Reversible by design
Undo is not a feature. It is the floor.
Before applying any batch of changes GhostEye creates a System Restore point and exports the registry keys it is about to touch. Every applied tweak is recorded with its previous value, so the Change History can put it back exactly as it was.
Rolling back works even on an unlicensed copy. Locking someone out of undoing a change the app itself made would be indefensible.

The things people actually ask
What happens if I change PC, or reinstall Windows?
On the old machine open Settings and press Deactivate: the slot is freed and the same code works on the new one. If the old PC is gone for good, write to us and the licence is reset by hand.
Does it need to be online?
Only to activate, and for a quiet check in the background afterwards. Without internet it keeps working for 7 days; after that Pro features pause until it can reach the server again.
What does GhostEye send over the internet?
Three things, and nothing else: the licence check (licence code, PC name, an anonymous hash of this PC's hardware), a DNS latency probe against the resolver your system already uses, and the Cloudflare speed test — only when you press its button. No files, no personal data, no telemetry.
Does it need administrator rights?
It starts as a normal user. Analysing the system, activating the licence and browsing the interface need no special rights. The first time you apply a change it asks to restart elevated, because machine-wide settings live under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE. Decline and nothing is applied.
Which build do I get, and do I need .NET?
Two are sent: standalone carries everything and runs on a clean Windows, and light is a 2 MB download that needs the free .NET 8 Desktop Runtime from Microsoft. Both are the same app.
Why does SmartScreen warn me?
Because the build is signed with our own certificate rather than a commercial one, which costs several hundred euro a year. Every release ships with a SHA-256 checksum you can verify before running it. Choose "More info" › "Run anyway".
Can I have a receipt or an invoice?
Ask in the order notes, before paying, and we will tell you what can be issued for your case. The price you see is the full amount due: nothing is added at the end.
Refunds?
The licence is digital and delivered immediately, so by confirming the order you agree to start delivery straight away and waive the 14-day withdrawal right. If the app genuinely will not run on your machine and we cannot fix it, you get your money back.
Windows 7 / 8 / Server?
No. GhostEye targets Windows 10 and Windows 11, 64-bit. Older versions lack most of the settings it manages.
