Privacy

In short: no accounts, no tracking cookies, no ads. I keep anonymous visit statistics that do not identify you, and what is needed to deliver and check your licence.

This website

• No cookies and no ads.
• Anonymous visit statistics: for each page view the site records the page, the website you came from, your country, device type, browser and operating system. Your IP address is not stored. It is mixed with a secret that changes every day into a code that cannot be reversed, so visits can be counted without recognising you from one day to the next. Clicks on the Microsoft Store download button are counted the same way. These statistics are kept for up to 13 months and only I can see them.
• Cloudflare hosts the site and keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser, time) to serve pages and block abuse.
• To stop spam, the order form keeps a short counter tied to your IP address. It is deleted automatically within two hours.

When you order

I receive your email, plan, number of PCs, notes and the country of your connection. I use them only to handle your order and give support. The order reaches me as a message in a private Discord channel, and a confirmation email with the payment link is sent to you through Resend.

Payment happens on PayPal (paypal.me/ghosteyecommerce), which processes your payment details under its own privacy policy; I never see your card or bank details. From PayPal I receive your name, PayPal email, the amount paid and the note you add. I keep your email and order reference to send the code, handle refunds and give support, for as long as the licence exists and up to 10 years for the sales records the law requires. Orders that are never paid are deleted within 12 months. For the visit statistics I also keep the order reference, plan, number of PCs and country, without your email or notes, for up to 13 months.

When you activate the app

GhostEye sends to the licence server:

• the licence code;
• the PC name;
• an anonymous hardware hash (it cannot be reversed);
• the app version.

It never sends your files, programs, browsing data or scan results. Those stay on your PC. The app also runs a DNS latency check and, only when you press it, a Cloudflare speed test.

Services used

• Cloudflare: website hosting and the database for the visit statistics.
• PayPal: payments and refunds.
• Resend: sends the order confirmation email.
• Discord: receives order notifications.
• Supabase: licence database in the EU. It stores only a hash of your code.

Your data is never sold or used for advertising.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data by writing to [email protected]. Deleting activation data also ends the licence. You can also contact the Italian data protection authority (garanteprivacy.it).
